Attached above is feedback from my final evaluation at Lebonheur Children's Hospital. I think that this evidence depicts exactly what some of my strengths and weaknesses were while I was on this rotation. My strengths included that I was always prepared with treatment ideas and that I was able to manage lines appropriately and safely. However, some of my weaknesses that I identified throughout this rotation are listed here as well, such as modifying/terminating treatment ideas and utilizing activity analysis to help patients meet their goals. My supervisors list them here as accomplishments, which in the end of the rotation I really was able to get a hold onto these skills and achieve them. However, I really struggled at times throughout this rotation to perform activity analysis and modify treatment ideas/activities. Even if I was very challenged by these weaknesses, I did not let them get in the way of me continuing to work hard and become a better and more competent future occupational therapist. I believe that because I had knowledge of my own strengths and weaknesses, I was able to grow in my abilities and achieve skills that I did not think I would ever achieve. I think that an entry-level occupational therapist should be aware of their strengths and weaknesses, using their strengths to their advantage while also growing upon their weaknesses.
